Prague: Travel Diary!
It has been a while, but I am back. This time it’s a travel diary.
First things first, if you ever want to explore a city- the best way I have discovered is to get a transport pass, hop on to that bus, tram or metro. It will be a little confusing at the start: a new language and places. But you will love it.

2) Getting around:
I was there for two and half days, so I got myself a 72-hour transport pass which costed me 310 CZK (12.4 EUR), it was valid for the whole of Prague and covers everything: buses, metro & tram. I highly recommend it. You can get it at the main station or from the automated ticketing machines or even inside a tram or bus, and if you want to travel hassle free do take Transferwise card with you. It worked everywhere, I didn’t have to carry an extra currency and I got the best conversion rate.
3) Accommodation:
I stayed at the Old Prague hostel which is right at the city center, it’s very good for the price. A stay for two nights costed me 35 EUR including breakfast.
4) Travelling solo:
Travelling solo is good for the soul, the freedom and the bliss are just rejuvenating, by the way, if you still want to meet up with some folks especially locals, the best and the fastest way is to create a hangout on Couchsurfing, people were really nice and friendly. In 5 minutes, I managed to meet 1 local and 3 internationals, we went out for a dinner and then we were just exploring the city in the night, the view at the Charles bridge is really good at the night, you wouldn’t like to skip that.

6) At night:
Prague is really beautiful during the day as well as the night, and this city never sleeps. As usual, avoid dark spaces, I didn’t face any problem pertaining to safety during the night. It was just as good during the day.

7) Food:
Well, do try out the Czech beer, it’s really good and tastes best with the traditional goulash.
